Congratulations to SMU on this recruit...though I'm not happy that Reinbold and/or others at SMU seems to have somehow convinced him to choose SMU over Hawaii even though he was offered by Hawaii and has family in Hawaii. I guess the camps and medical mission (led by Reinbold's wife) to Samoa that the JJ Foundation paid for last year has paid off for SMU.

Hawaii sent an assistant coach to Samoa recently for recruiting purposes...did SMU do the same? I'm guessing that the coach that Hawaii sent visited with Beck while he was in Samoa.

As a freshman in the Oregon camp he won MVP at quarterback. Then last year he won MVP at linebacker at the all poly camp.

Hopefully only his muscles. He's here now with some of the boys watching the fight....I'll have to take a closer look at him.
