Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick moving to North Texas?

A few months ago, while strolling through the City Council suites, we spotted a familiar face ducking into Mayor Tom Leppert's office.

It was none other than that of his fellow Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, at the time under investigation for a host of felonies and persona non grata in his own town.

Well, Kilpatrick - now a convicted felon and former mayor - must have liked what he saw of Dallas, because the Detroit Free Press is reporting this morning he's moving this way.

Word is, his family is already here.

Rumor has it he plans to do some kind of lobbying work.
