Be sure to wear shoes and put your teeth in. I get yelled at and/or laughed at when I do not.

Little Rock, AR - Should you be able to carry a gun to church? It's a question state lawmakers will be taking up next week when they debate a bill that's kicked up a little controversy. The bill being discussed would let churches decide on their own to post a sign to ban guns inside, but opponents say it should not even be an option.

Grant Exton is a gun owner and president of the state's Concealed Carry Association. He's been working with lawmakers on a bill that would allow people licensed to carry a concealed handgun to take their guns to church. Exton says the proposed law's less about guns and more about property rights.

94, Hope just cost us another 1.2 trillion bones. I wouldn't call that free.

Why should state lawmakers be making any decisions involving guns and/or churches ?

I don't know why you have such a big problem with these events. I think the majority of the people can figure out on their own that all recruiting classes are a crapshoot and that nothing is guaranteed.

I think they also understand is a certain load of BS tied to the speeches and proclomations and so forth.

I will enjoy the event because it's a chance to meet up with friends I haven't seen in awhile. Oh, and football will be discussed too. That's how I look at it.

Drop the "I know more about this class than anybody so don't waste your time'' superiority business.

Just come out, grab a beer and hang out with people. After all, you're dues paid for the event.

Sounds like this is a Mustang Club only event. Let me know how it goes.

I've been to several of them over the years-at least 3. Never learned too much that I didn't already know that isn't availiable through another source. Rivals will probably have a tape of Jones' player evaluations anyway. Films on 90% of the recruits I've already seen on the internet.

I do think that it made me physically ill and vomit a litt' in my mouth to listen to the militant cheerleaderism and misinformed delusion that flowed from many Mustang Clubbers from 1989 to about 2008 about our sterling recruiting classes which were for the most part our competitors left-overs.

I think the recruiting obstacles are 98% gone today so we should finally see solid improvement in next few years-(as in 4-5 years not 1-2 for you jumping on the fire Doherty bandwagon). I am sure of one thing-when SMU finally does put a quality football team, on the field in the future-it will include solid contributions from the same JUCOs, placed Jucos, Prep players, low qualifiers, late qualifiers, re-testers and grade-washers, and other players allowed under NCAA rules just like at our competitors like I was pointing out from about 1998-2008 on SMU message boards.
