We will have no problem with fast and elusive, Mr. Stallion. How would you feel about Margus Hunt at RB? Before you answer, think about it for a minute.

I don't think RBs who are 5-5 and 5-7 will be the long term answer for June Jones in a Run and Shoot with only 5 Offensive Lineman. Somebody is going to get hurt-which Lee did in about his first series at RB.

June Jones picked them, not me...All I observed was that Demyron couldn't run, BJ and Bryce could. I think we will see a small, fast, smart RB and a monster; blocker and yard gainer. My vote is for Margus Hunt. Who cares if he has never done it, what's the worst that could happen? His fingers have to be super strong to throw the discus, so I don't think dropping the ball will be a problem and he might be a little hard to tackle, just my opinion.

I am sad that our hardest defense hit last year was by a kicker, our longest run was by another kicker and many on this site have put their faith in our resurection in the hands of a young man who has never played football in his life. We have a long way to go.

As Stallion always says. They are going to be recruited over anyway.

we need mcneal this year... his highlight film speaks for itself. if he can come in and mak an immediate impact, hopefully some top RB's will take notice that they can play an important role in this offene.

I like Lee as a return man. The scat backs will see ore 4th quarter time then anything else. That is assuming our defenses holds up so we arent playing catch up.

Please tell me the Margus Hunt at RB suggestion was a joke?

Look for Zach Line to possibly move to RB

It wasn't a joke, it was a ludicrous example to show that size isn't the only factor to be considered in talent evaluation.

The fact that he got broke right out of the gate apparently doesn't carry much weight with some posters.

It seems like everyone has forgotten the Tulsa game where Butler was showing more skill and hustle (and yards) then we have seen from that postion in a long time (well at least since the SMU/TCU game forever ago when Martin acutally looked like a running back) - until Butler got hurt. He stays healthy and we win that game.

i think he is back and we are o.k. (but not great) at RB. Better yet - McNeal starts and a healthy, rested Butler relieves him on occassion.

Hunt - pleeeease

Line - Double pleeeease - smallish slowish ex LB is not the answer.

B J Lee has had a shoulder problem since high school, and he re-injured it, in his second series against UCF. He will be a situational back at best.

Hunt can play QB, there isnt a big learning curve at that position in this offense..especially when you have never played a down of organized football
