We play SFA on the 5th. Then get Wazzu on the 19th. So we get a warm-up game and then a week off.
Wazzu gets Stanford on the 5th and Hawaii on the 12th. So they get two games to prepare (although neither one will probably build their confidence since they will get beat in both)
Who has the advantage here (excluding home feild advantage) you think?

The key point being that they play Hawaii at home the week before. They get to see fundamentally the same offense two weeks in a row. I definitely think that gives Washington State an advantage.
BTW, given Hawaii's historical road record, I don't think you can lock that game in as a loss for Washington State.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Good point. I didnt think about how they get to prepare for the same offense twice!

That game will be played in Seattle. Traveling cross-state isn't like going to Hawaii, but it isn't the same as playing on campus either. http://wsucougars.cstv.com/sports/m-foo ... cheds.html

I think we definitely have the advantage as it seems, based upon the information you provided, that they play both SMU and Hawaii on the same day.

For clarity, the Hawaii game is actually the 12th. Back to advantage WSU.

Wazzu will also have the advantage of being battle-tested. I think it is a big deal to have some big games early--win or lose. I also think it is important to have a cupcake game to get your offense clicking, but until you get out there and get into a big hitting battle, your level of play doesn't get elevated. Having played Stanford and Hawaii vs. one game against SFA is a huge difference--unless they get beat handily in both and their souls are crushed!

We could very well have our souls crushed in our first game too...

You get the worst team in D1-AA in SFA then the worst BCS team in Washington St....I think SMU wins both easily...The Cougs are THAT bad.

Isn't Washington worse, since: 1) They went 0-12 and 2) WSU beat them.

I guess, but it was WSU's superbowl....Baylor beat Wazzu 45-17 last year...BCS teams shouldn't lose to Baylor 45-17.

Does that mean that WSU is 8 points worse than A&M (41-21)?
If so...
we are in trouble when we head to the Palouse for that game.

The team will likely stay at the red lion in Lewiston, Id for the game. How many of you are planning to make the trek to the palouse?
