Hey, having an ex-President of the United States pumping iron with you is not a bad thing even if many people didn't like him. I can see JJ going to a recruits home, sees a Republican bumper sticker on the car and says to them, you know George Bush comes to the weight room frequently. So, if you come to SMU, your son will get to know the ex-President. Sure, Coach Mac can point out to the recruit whose parents have the Obama forever bumper sticker on their car, you don't want to go to SMU, "W" hangs out there.

Bush knows lots and lots of rich conservatives. Conservatives tend to love football. He can get some reps in at QB during spring training for all I care.
