SMU's HS Class Rates Favorably

I have mentioned several times that I thought SMU's HIGH SCHOOL ONLY class rates favorably with the classes of TCU, Baylor, UH, and Rice. In high school recruiting only SMU holds a slight edge over each school based on the more precise secondary rating used by Rivals. The following are the ratings with numbers of HS recruits in parenthesis. SMU 5.28(10), TCU 5.24(12), Baylor 5.15(10), UH 5.13(12)Rice-(really struggling). However, to be fair especially to the Froggies TCU's best recruits are JC players not included in this scale. Surprisingly, competitive is Tulsa at 5.2(13) and that doesn't include 3 three star JUCOs.

Can you pull those same stats to compare between our class and the CUSA schools we'll be facing in another couple of years?

i just saw jon lindley, of sulphur springs, on a basketball court. He is taller than i had expected and his quickness is just plain out of this world. looks like another nice east texas pick up.

Not really surprised about Tulsa, since they are the #3 school in that state (as opposed to the seventh/eighth option like SMU, Houston, Rice, Baylor, etc.)

We'll become more successful on the JC level as years progress, and JUCO players realize that we're an option.

We're a redtag policy change away from creating something solid on the non-BCS level.

I get the impression that he's really impressive. It's good to hear about that quickness, considering he suffered a miniscus injury in his knee in SSHS's season-ending playoff loss to Highland Park.

So how tall is he? I've seen him listed everywhere from 5-10 to 6-1.5. Could you get an accurate read on the guy?

6 out of Tulsa's 16 HS recruits are from our own DFW Metroplex including recognized recruits like S Randy Duncan, S Curtis Williams and DT Tommy Daniels.

Lot of good football players in Oklahoma, and OU and OSU can't accommodate all the Oklahomans that wants to stay in state. Naturally, they turn to Tulsa next.

Whereas a Texan who wants to stay in state can turn to eight different schools if Texas or Texas A&M aren't interested.

GM,Jon is a legit 5'11'' to 6'0''. And I honestly forgot about the knee injury. He was not wearing a sleeve or anything on the knee so I am assuming he is fully recovered.
