Nice story on the home page (linked from Dallas Morning News) on the late Skeeter Walker, widow of Doak Walker. Rick Alonzo did a nice job with this. Looking forward to his coverage of SMU this fall.
For those of us who had the pleasure of meeting her, Skeeter will be missed. She was a great lady.

Agreed - even after we lost Doak a few years ago, Skeeter Walker retained her involvement with the university and the running back award named in her husband's memory. What a class act.
