With TCU to MWCNow that rumors are out that TCU really will probably accept a move to the MWC, how fast do you think Bennett and his staff will be calling some of the TCU recruits (especially Houston ones) that we're interested in and say "you really want to play all your games out west?". Or "Now your mamma won't be able to see you play in your home town."

Re: With TCU to MWCyou got it East. Gotta turn this into a positive, and thats the one clear way to do it. Make no mistake, it is us against them. TCU is going for the jugular. There is no clearer indication than the fact that you never hear an SMU score or anything about SMU on 103.3 in Dallas. You think thats coincidence? No, I guarantee you that as part of TCUs partnership with them as their radio carrier, they purposely pretend SMU doesn't exist. The night we beat Texas Tech, TCU hosted Kansas. No mention of an SMU win the next morning, only about how the Frogs hung with KU for the first half. SMU is like the unsavvy, geeky kid that doesn't realize the cool kids are trying to steal his lunch. We pay the Ticket to broadcast our games on the weekend and make fun of us all week long.
Re: With TCU to MWCfor what's its worth, TCU has zero commitments from players in the Houston area or Coastal Bend region, although their best HS recruit is from San Antonio. He is attending TCU largely because of some former HS teammates who are Froggies.

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: With TCU to MWCI confess I am not nearly up on this subject as you are. Where is Sugarland? I noticed that a kid from there on the State 100 list has high interest in TCU.

Re: With TCU to MWCbetter known today as Willowridge which would be considered Greater Houston. Sugarland was the home of Ken Hall the Aggie who set the All Time HS Rushing record which has stood for 50 years. I think the HS Heisman is now named after him.

Re: With TCU to MWCI confess not knowing my Houston-area geography, but I think Waller is in that area. Jason Phillips from Waller is a TCU committ. The RB is Michael Rutledge from Kempner High. The rumor there is that he might not qualify academically.
