Texas Top 100s heading to SMU

According to hoopgurlz.com (the main recruiting service for girls basketball), the Texas Top 100 includes all three incoming SMU signees:

23. Sarah Shelton (Fort Worth Nolan)
6-3 center
No. 45 player in the country at her position

67. Jasmine Davis (Duncanville HS)
5-8 guard

80. Alisha Filmore (Mansfield HS)
5-7 guard

She's an inch shorter. :wink:
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Maybe Davis gets reputation credit for the team she plays on? Isn't Duncanville pretty good?

Regardless, it's nice to see an entire recruiting class considered among the best in the state. Congratulations, coaches.

Yes Duncaville is pretty good, they only lost to Mansfield Summit by 10 in the regional finals. Summit then beat Houston Nimitz to win the state title. Alisha Filmore lead all scorers with 14 points in the win over Duncanville.

OK. Sorry, it's high school sports. I've got more to do. Those players don't matter until they get to SMU.
