TCU women -- one and done

Postby George S. Patton » Sun Mar 22, 2009 8:27 pm

I realize we can't brag because of the disaster in Ruston. But TCU just got hammered in the first round against South Dakota State, 90-55.

Corp, where's the spin on this one. Probably would have been better for them to be in the WNIT.

SDSU's 1st tournament, 1st win. And they played pretty well apparently.

No question about it...they ran into a real buzz saw.

However, at least they made the dance in a rebuilding year.

SMU was rebuilding as well -- and we still came to your place and beat you!

About time you folks finally won something.

And it took your girls to accomplish that task.

It all counts. Doesn't matter the sport.

Oh, so you're one of those idiots who think that only football and men's basketball counts? Wake up and join the 21st century.

Walking out of that dump of an arena in December after our girls won was one of the best wins I've ever seen there. And I've been over there many times over the years.

And, I thoroughly enjoyed watching our women's tennis team beat your froggies last week. Very good match.
