DJ Johnson is an exceptional player. If we somehow land him, the complexion of the team would change a lot.

he's the type of recruit that could be a Pied Piper Recruit. The type that other recruits say-"He signed with SMU? WTF. Hmm. Maybe they are turning things around there."

Especially if he is as enthusiastic as he sounds. That excitement could be infectious with other good recruits.

A friend of mine who is very inside with UT recruiting told me that DJ wanted to go to UT and that UT would have offered but they had concerns he would not qualify. Therefore, they are looking in another direction ├â┬ó├óΓÇÜ┬¼" specifically RB Seastrunk outta Temple, the #2 recruit in the country
