Why are people mad at Memphis for being good. Those that are upset with that must not want SMU to improve. I want Memphis to continue to be a top team. I want SMU to move toward them, not them toward us. If that means they win 90 straight before we get better, so be it. It is much better then having Memphis suck also.

I agree 100% that I want SMU to move towards Memphis not vice versa. I will take it an additional step; I want SMU to surpass Memphis. I think the disagreement comes in when talking about if Memphis runs off 100 straight wins. Does that help or hurt the cause.
If there is debate now about the pathetic state of CUSA what will it be like next year or two years if Memphis stays undefeated. Somebody in the conference just needs to beat them and as I included in my original post their recruiting class or potential class seems to make that more and more unlikely.
