by far the best the Big 10 had to offer this year; couldn't turn on a Big 10 game without it being Michigan State...and rightfully so.
Mrs CP is pleased, even though she doesn't follow her alma mater very closely. I have to tell her they are doing well, but now that they are in the Final Four, she is a Spartan again.

The girl in your avatar should be dancing like she was meant to be. Someone on the CUSA board has a large version of her removing her jeans

The Big 10 is still virtually unwatchable.

Bill Self and Rick Pitino just WATCHED their seasons end because of that "unwatchable'' brand of basketball. You listen to the TV nutbags too much.

No, I've just watched games.
Michigan State, to be fair, is tolerable. As a league, however, it's painful.

It's mostly an unwatchable product, but you have to hand it to Izzo. He's a helluva coach in a very average league. 4th best league, IMO
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones

In some cases yes, but I think the league games are called tighter. But then you also have 8 defensive minded coaches in the league. That contributes to the league.
But when they get into non-conference play, their style is a little different.
Food for thought.

In my opinion, Tom Izzo is the best tournament coach in the game today. That guy consistently gets more out of less come March Madness than anybody else. Give him something more than less and he makes the final four.
I am glad MSU made it, but it has everything to do with brackets and nothing to do with the Big 10, for which I still harbor much disinterest.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

An entire team unable to hit jumpshots does not make the opposing coach "defensive minded."
And while MSU is definitely very good, just like in football the league really should be called "The Big 1 and the Mediocre 10"

That's a complete misconception. I think some are just jealous because a Big 10 team is in the Final Four and a Big 12 team isn't.
