Can we slow down a little on all the posts that provide no information to PonyFans other than a SUBSCRIBER link to SCOUT.
Don't get me wrong, I like your SMU enthusiasm and the fact we have other sites following SMU athletics; however, I'm sure the subscribers to those sites already have them bookmarked -- they don't need a link via PonyFans.
Bottom line, this is a discussion board for people who want to use PonyFans. Scout can buy adds on PonyFans if they want, but let's keep the posts to sharing FREE links and real information.

I share just as many Rivals links as well (Scout just happened to have had a lot of content this week). Also, I put a lot of free links up to other articles(newspapers, other media sites) as well. I just share links to info (free or otherwise), and will continue to do so. And I would suggest you start sharing free links and real info more often. I am looking forward to seeing some of your posts and getting in on the discussions you initiate. Thanks.

Sorry you seemed to have taken this personally - not my intention. I thought I was specific to posts with links to subscriber sites and didn't talk about any other posts -- yours or mine.
For those of us on PonyFans who are not subscribers to the other sites, it would be nice if people would just put SUBSCRIBER ONLY in the subject line -- similar to when people put FREE for the ones that are free.
It gets old being on PonyFans and clicking on a subject just to find out there is no information other than a link to a subsciber site.
As I stated earlier......

No, but 90% or more of our information about commitments, prospects, offers, and recruiting come form Scout and/or Rivals. Like the commitment we just got today(see Rivals). If we stop posting for those 2 sites we stop the information flow(this is the recruiting section after all).

If neither of those sites existed, 100% of the information still gets out.
Regardless, I appreciate your interest in SMU and willingness to share information with others also interested in our success.
Thanks for adding Subscription to the subject line when appropriate.

With the DMN sucking, I love all of the info on the Stangs from these sites. It took me a long time to come around, but I am a member of both sites, and it's worth it!

All you had to do ask me to move the subscription info to the subject line and not come across as some self appointed board moderator. We are all on the same team. Also, 100% of the info might possibly come out but not as quickly.

You're right -- wish I did just ask -- sounds like it would have been no big deal.
