THe other 50% were two 10 question, multiple choice tests.
It was once a week and we watched a movie each class.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

curious which course did you end up taking and was it easy/worth it?jkflamebo wrote:department, class #, and professor would be appreciated. need an elective. thoughts?
Easiest by far. And I've pretty much tried all listed above. I hear a rumor that some dumb aces messed it up for everyone a few years ago. The situatio. Was that the tests never varied year after year. The fraternities had files, so we had the respective tests. One or two questions would vary, but everything else was dead on.
Now, apparently this changed when one genius fratastic dude decided to memorize the entire test and then apply that directly to the exam. He still did well, but the answers had no relation to some of the questions whatsoever. He literally memorized that answers then just applied them. This clued in the professor finally, so the good times may be over.

Hah!, I took that my senior year as well, definitely the easiest class I took at SMU. I still remember this as the last class I ever attended at SMU, was my final class on final day of classes...Peruna_Ate_My_Rolex wrote:I'll second this one as well.ponyboy wrote:For me it was Kim Corbet's "Evolution of Jazz"
He came in, plugged in a Laurie Anderson Video and told us to watch as much as we wanted or could stand, then were free to leave at our own pace, just sign the sheet on the way out for full participation credit, think I stuck around 5 minutes....what a way to end the college experience!

Also, Thursday was "Observer" day, we would spend the whole class going over the Dallas Observer and he would make recommendations on what clubs had the best shows to see locally for the week, some would even wave cover if you showed your SMU ID and said it was for the Jazz class at SMU. Good times!
