Somehow I knew you would have something to say. And I know you cannot possibly be serious.

You know why some of us hate OU? Because of comments like this:
Texas Lost to Tech if you want to win the big 12 you have to beat OU and win the rest of your games. Why is Smack Brown still in denial? OU made Tech look like a high school prep team.
Okay...so now the criteria for winning the Big XII is:
1) Beat OU
2) Go undefeated in conference play.
Therefore, NO ONE was the Big XII champion in 2008, by that poster's logic.

I am serious, and stop calling me Shirley.

I guess Mack Brown is going to send Mike Leach a congratulatory card then, since Texas Tech also went 7-1 and apparently beat the conference champ head-to-head.

I wonder why they didn't claim a National Championship while they were at it. Hook 'em.

Mack and his players have to make that claim in order to receive their bonuses for the year...

VIOLATION/ADVANTAGE. If I'd gone to tu/ou, I wouldn't be REALLY
impressed/especially proud of any championships they won.

This is as tacky as it gets. The UT people like to talk about how classy Mack Brown is, but this reminds me more of that weasel Fred Akers. In '85 we beat his Longhorn team 44-14, and he actually told the press that the game was won on 2 plays. Im not good at math, but I never did figure out which two plays, if elimnated from the game, would have given Texas 31 more points or SMU 31 fewer. God, UT is obnoxious.
