Hawaii Bowl signs agreement with C-USA

Postby SMU 86 » Fri Apr 10, 2009 5:04 pm

Add another bowl to C-USA. This helps SMU's chances for sure.

When we're eligible, I bet we get this bid, if for no other reason than the "June Jones returns to Hawaii" angle for the media.

This is great news. Imagine how awesome it would be to play in this bowl. Hopefully we can do it this year.

I am thinking that the bowl commissioner will do everything he can to get an SMU vs Hawaii match up.

To far to bowl for me. I prefer this game on the main land.

We may 8) need to win a few football games before we even smell a bowl ..

That is the only problem really. That said, I would have to go. I promised myself a few years ago that when SMU makes a bowl, I am going.

When UCF went I watched it on the bo-ob tube.

I can fly first class to Hawai on my sister in laws D 3 passes for about $185.00 round trip but you alway get stuck on stand by. Then it starts racking up with over night stays and food...

You have your whole life to pay off any debt to see SMU's first bowl, but you only have one chance to actually go.

I'm planning on being in Hawai`i this December!

I like the move, CUSA is on the rise as a conference and this just means additional ESPN exposure.
