No Home games on same weekend as Cowboys Home Game

Postby stein000012 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 7:06 pm

Very upset. Wanted to come in town to catch the Mustangs and the Cowboys on the same weekend. Amazingly, there is not one weekend where they both play at home. Very disapointing.

Actually in the big picture that is probably a plus for SMU.

However, the TCU game is the same day as the Hogs-Aggy game at Jerry World.

That's just great...guess going in on I-20 or the north side of Ft. Worth will be the best option.

All those Ags and Hogs together at the same time...in PT Barnum & Jerry's World Bazaar.

Simply awful.

I think the NFL was scared that SMU might take away some of the viewing audience . . . IMHO

Actually, I think I'm missing SMU-TCU because of this game.

The Mrs. is a Razorback and has had to put up with watching a lot of bad football with me.

Ah...I hope the Hoggies win, because if they do, the Aggies will say that it's a bad deal to play games away from Kyle Field and cancel the series.

I thought she was tired of watching bad football? Does it really count as "good football" if only 1 team shows up? If the Ag's arent much improved, im afeared this may be a 1-sided series.

Well, my best friend and I are going to the Arkansas-A&M game. So I don't know what you mean by the above. Spare me the macho gibberish.

If you were married to a Mustang (like I am!) you wouldn't have to worry about such things, General. :) See ya'll in Fort Worth! GO MUSTANGS!
