The "Boo"levard; a marketing opportunity missed.

Postby Caballo » Fri Apr 17, 2009 12:01 pm

I can't believe someone did not lobby the h#!! out of the C-USA schedule makers to allow us to have a home game the night of October 31. Anyone who went to the game a couple years back with UAB on Halloween can vouch for the desire to recreate that atmosphere. Or at least the dress code for the coeds.

What atmosphere?

It was cold.

It was empty.

And it was cold.

I remember the Blvd being pretty dead for that Halloween game and it was cold, but I did enjoy it, had a different feel.

Peruna's referee costume, complete with flag, was priceless.

What happened to the jtstang for president of Texas thread, where Ex18 proposed Oklahoma should secede?

Apparently I will not be running unopposed:

I should just withdraw from the race right now. It's Chuck Norris for godsake. Chuck Norris does not run for Texas president, the Texas presidency runs to Chuck Norris.

Besides the win, I remember it being really, really cold, and even though the student section started out packed, the rest of the stadium was nearly empty. If I had kids, I'd bet they'd rather go trick or treating than suffer through that.
