But he can't even put it on his own blog on the university web site?

The last entry was about his alma mater winning the national title. Thanks for the update, Matt.

Do you think it's possible, Matt, that you could give us a little more about your guard other than your stock quote in the release?

I often defend MD on here but the way he is handling the recruiting info is way over the top. Hope he offers some explanation for the way it has gone when all is said and done. Not real professional at all.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

I don't need to twitter. He should be doing this also on his own blog, which he told everyone was a great idea since he got it from Mark Cuban.

The Rudy's BBQ Doh is talking about is right across from Frisco Wakeland.
2 pretty good prospects there. Preston Whitley & Nick Hinton.
Whitley is a 6'4 Sr that avg 22 pts per game & Hinton is a legit 6'9 lefty with a nice touch.

I have actually heard a little about Hinton. I hear he definitely has a nice feel for the game but still aggresive (thank goodness, bc we don't want any passive bigs!). Unfortunately I heard he wasn't close to that 6'9 figure but closer to 6'6 or 6'7. Of course the person I spoke with may have seen him before his senior season and he certainly could have grown since then. Papa, can you give us a little more insight into his game from what you have seen? I think he has a couple of decent offers- maybe Utah being one if I recall correctly.

Really don't know anything about the Whitley kid but 22ppg along with that size (if he is a guard) should mean he is a pretty sought after prospect. Any info on him for us?

http://tulsa.rivals.com/viewprospect.as ... _key=77469

Tulsa has offered in addition to Utah, SMU, and a couple of other programs. Listed here on his rivals page as 6'6. Might be a very nice pickup for us- would be even better if he were a couple inches taller than that 6'6 listed height.

His blog is finally updated: http://smumustangs.cstv.com/hoopsblog/

Standard info, nothing special. Thought he would give some personal insight, not throw a link out...

Two signs that he had nothing to do with this blog:

1. There's a dateline on this. A dateline? When would a blog put a dateline on anything?

2. There is no personalization with this entry. Matt's quick thoughts on "why we like Rodney" and blah, blah.

This is such a poor attempt by whoever to react to the public, it's laughable.
