You mean they copied the press release put out by SMUMustangs.com? That's some stellar reporting. If anyone should get credit for "reporting" this, it's SMU's athletic department.

More importantly, congratulations to Chris. Getting to wear Jerry LeVias's number is a huge honor, and although I've never met Banjo, he strikes me as a guy who would understand how significant it is, and would appreciate it. To be the first guy wearing 23 as just a sophomore is a little shocking, if you ask me.

Didn't Rivals make the selection several days ago, but it is just now getting out to non-subscribers?

Who cares -- I'm happy that SMU has this great award to recognize both Jerry LeVias and a player like Chris Banjo.
