I just love it when Tech and A&M mix it up. That rivalry is very under rated.

Count me in as a Leach fan.

Ironically, I'm wearing Red and Black today, SO GET YOUR GUNS UP!!

Heres what a normal person would have said to "support their guy":
"I think Graham was really underrated as a QB. He definitely should have been drafted, but sometimes great QB slip through the cracks [then list some examples]"
If asked about McGee:
"Im happy for him"

To attack NFL teams for being incompetent talent scouts, and attack A&M coaches when asked about a player is pure Mike Leach. There is a big jump between supporting your guy and attacking others.

from the DMN article: In the process, the Big 12 South just gained another white-hot rivalry

Just gained? The TT v aTm rivalry has been HUGE in Lubbock and College Station for quite some time now.

I don't think it is wrong to attack nfl teams from what most draft grades show Cowboys got pretty much d's across the board, not much to say about scouting talent when you are in the basement with the raiders...especially sense they are spectacular talent evaluators...

He didnt attack the Cowboys, he attacked everyone involved in drafting QBs for the NFL

I would say that the nfl does draft quarterback bad...

Akili Smith #3
Alex Smith #1
Ryan Leaf #2
Heath Shuler #3
Tim Couch #1

whereas...

Marc Bulger #168
Tom Brady #199
Joe Montana 3rd Round

Not that late but not top Brett Favre #33

Looks like they all know how to scout...

The Chicago Bears chose S.M.U.'s Don Meredith in the third round of the 1960 NFL Draft, and traded him to a young Dallas Cowboys franchise for future draft picks.

http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/fulldr ... e=position

Im sure you can find examples of high round busts, and low round gems, but overall, I dont think you could, by any stretch of the imagination say that QBs are indisputably poorly drafted.

Most names on that list will mean little to nothing at all to most of us, which is the case at any position.

QBs picked no. 1 back to 1970and whether they busted or not. He's right, the NFL is terrible at this.

Matthew Stafford - ?
JaMarcus Russel - ? doesnt look good though
Alex Smith - busting
Eli Manning - not
Carson Palmer - not
David Carr - ehhhh
Michael Vick - not
Tim Couch - bust
Peyton Manning - not
Drew Bledsoe - not
Jeff George - not
Troy Aikman - not
Vinny Testaverde - not
John Elway - not
Steve Bartkowski - have no idea
Jim Plunkett - not
Terry Bradshaw - not

And then if you compare the great QB's who were drafted (any round, which means some team saw potential) against those who werent, there is no contest at all.
