I hope he's as good as the kid on the highlight reel.
he's not.
our Jeremy Johnson is not as good of a qb but he's likely a better athlete...faster at least at 4.4 v 4.5 per Rivals

actually I claified the confusion later regarding the two Jeremy Johnsons. The more highly recruited one with 10 plus offers is from Silsbee. Our Jeremy Johnson is from Tyler. ESPN linked the Jeremy Johnson from Silsbee prospect page who graded 77. But the video linked to the Jeremy Johnson from Silsbee prospect page is in fact Jeremy Johnson from Tyler John Tyler. ESPN made a mistake on the linked video. For proof check out the linked field markings which show "Tyler John Tyler's" home field. and I know they wear the Royal Blue. So the linked video is our Jeremy Johnson. I'll link again. Confused yet?

Here's the link-note the opening where it confirms Jeremy Johnson from Tyler John Tyler-kid I think is a definite taker despite no other confirmed offers. Johnson has run a 21.97 200 Meters and High Jumped 6-4 as a Sophomore. Playing both Baseball and Track this spring. I think he looks pretty strong even as a QB but would expect him to play Receiver. Listed at 6-1 but in the video I doubt if he is much taller than 5-11

Robert Redford played him in the movie.

Sorry about that! They only had one Jeremy Johnson, I didn't notice the school. My bad. I was wondering why he didn't have more offers.

That was Jeremiah Johnson. Not Jeremy.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Coincidence of life. I get home today and meet the young man from Dish Satellite who was doing some work on my system. As he leaves he gives me his name and number if any additional work is needed. Name...
Jeremiah Johnson.
Looked totally different than on screen.

But Redford starred in my all-time favorite sports movie The Natural. I still get goose bumps every time Roy Hobbs hits the game-winning home run at the end.
And here it is...

Liked the exchange between Hobbs and the Judge in the judge's office when the lights were off. And he ticked off the judge when he walked out and turned the lights on.
