Many seem to find fault in what Jones and Doherty do with recruits or scholarship players when they let them go, but in reality it goes on everywhere. What Jones did with several at one time was big news but I think that is just because he is a no nonsense kind of guy who wanted to get it done and over. Here in Arkansas, Pelphrey has signed a new recruit 3 times in the past month and each time it has put him one over the limit and each time a current player seems to "want to transfer out". As of today he is once again 1 over the limit so another player is going to want out in the next day or 2. Never fun for the ones that go but a fact of today's game. Not saying I like it or agree totally, but it is going on everywhere.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Alaric / Dawn..this is what they do at big time programs. UT fball is in shambles / disrepair with Coach Fulmer losing control of the thing the last 2-3 years. New guy, new rules, new style, new day..see ya boys, please transfer. Wish we had this "problems"..
I understand the program and don't have much of a problem with it... I'm saying Lane Kiffen himself is a train wreck. Look at his bizarre comments going way back. It won't be long before he's looking for a new job.
Not to mention one of his new signees was convicted of a role in a rape.

some of you are jumping the gun just a tad. This article doesn't say a thing about Lane Kiffen jerking scholarships. Attrition happens at every program including SMU as I've pointed out every year when you guys say "Oh No-we only have 11 scholarships to give next year and we end up signing 25". It is especially pronounced when there is a change in Coaching Staff and philosophy. How many scholarships did Kiffen jerk involuntarily-that's the issue.
Lane Kiffin's a train wreck. Ed Orgeron Part II
Truer words were never spoken. Orgeron was one of Kiffin's first hires. He's the Vols' recruiting coordinator.
