Who's In Charge of Music For Our Stadium?Im looking for that song we played just before kickoffs in 06, the year we beat TCU at home.
I believe it was a mixture of artist. If anyone knows I would appreciate the info. Thanks
i dunno.....but this needs to be the song
played as the Mustangs get ready to exit the tunnel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrCw8po7JKo ![]() ps: but we need to have blue and red fog! C-ya @ Milos!
Do you mean the infamous "Nuck if you Buck" song?
I assume the music was the responsibility of the recently-emptied marketing department.
The PA music drowns out the Mustang Band which is ridiculous. Clearly I rather hear a college band that some LOUD crap on the PA system. Hopefully the marketing department decider to play crappy music has been let go and the college football experience will improve.
although I agree the Mustang Band should be the
musical foundation of the gameday experience, we need to drop in some rock and even hip hop music that appeals to the younger generation.....one generation's music is "crap" to another generation....we need to get more young people involved at SMU and not just appeal to the blue-hairs and toupee crowd that cry foul anytime something changes from "the way it's always been done around here". C-ya @ Milos!
Why? UT's students show up and they don't play rock and hip hop on the PA. A&M's students show up and they don't play rock and hip hop on the PA. Hell, most high schools have more students show up to games than SMU does, and most of them don't play rock and hip hop on the PA. College football and marching band music go together. Oh, by the way, every student I've talked to says that the Mustang Band is the best part of the games, but they wish we played more.
Does marijuana smoke come in red n blue ![]() Only song that needs to be playing while the players are in the tunnel is the LONG version of Peruna ![]()
