Big Fellas
I heard that there are some bigger guys from last year, namely Gober and Slaten. I guess the diesel is gettin it done. He needs to keep them pumped up!! We're just a little over three weeks away from conference play!

Re: Big Fellas
The Diesel is a huge addition to the program. He has the players working harder in the weight room than any team we've ever had. Most of the players have strapped on considerable muscle, but at the same time, there are some guys (like Sterling Harris) who have lost some weight and increased quickness. If we win 6 games this year, The Diesel is MVP (or maybe Most Valuable Coach.)
He's also a hell of a motivator. When we were flirting with playing Kansas State, he had the guys worked into such a frenzy that many of them thought we'd beat the Wildcats. The Diesel should give every pre-game pep talk.

George,
Ya think we could get him to lead the guys down the Blvd. on game day? He might even make our fans feel like they're suppose to be there and get pumped up.

I do not think they are doing the walk any more. Besides the Kansas game, the walk of shame was a disaster. All it did was remind the players that there was no fan support.

Re: Big Fellas
The walk is still alive, and it is a great idea. The problem is that the team walk starts at the Natatorium. Most of the students are at the nothern most part of the boulevard. That is where the walk should start and that is where the fan support is. The support is good, the logistics is the problem.
