Discussion on the house floor at this moment re: NTSU having a law school downtown. Does the SMU keeping NTSU down consortium that kept 'em out of CUSA have a presence down there today?

No, I am not aware of any SMU office or extension in downtown Denton.

It is a done deal. Just a rubber stamp from the governor.

It's going in the old court house and the city will be giving it $14,000,000

We need attorneys on the losing side of cases. UNT will fill the bill nicely.

its actually going into Old City Hall which I guess does or did have Municipal Courts-Old Red Courthouse is now a Museum. But who would want to go Downtown for Law School unless you were a part-timer.

Part-time law school makes SMU a fortune, BTW. Graduate schools are profitable enough. Part-time MBA and JD's even more so.
I can't believe anyone actually believes we need another law school in this state. Oh, well. At least Thurgood Marshall won't be pulling up the rear of the Bar passage rates in the near future.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

what a great retort
"I know you are, but what am I" usually isn't used past the third grade. I would have expected more from an SMU grad.
But what else can you use now that your favorite "how's that stadium coming?" doesn't apply anymore.

Did anybody else leave your program today? Did anybody else fail a drug test? Did you lose anymore scholarships due to academic incompetence? Did your entire football conference have more than one player drafted this past year? Did you lose 77-20 to Rice last year?

Are you really going to argue who sucks more? That's like arguing who's [deleted] is bigger...Hillary Clinton's or Oprah's....it doesn't matter they're both enormous. It's May there is nothing to talk about except other teams coming to play teams not us in Dallas.
