John Wall Commits to Kentucky
By Hoopmasters Staff

John Wall, a 6-foot-1, 184-pound point guard from Raleigh (NC) Word of God Academy, has committed to Kentucky.

John Wall, a 6-foot-1, 184-pound point guard from Raleigh (NC) Word of God Academy, has committed to Kentucky, according to sources close to the program. Wall is ranked as Hoopmasters' #4 senior in the country.

Wall played in the McDonald's All-American Game, Nike Hoop Summit and Jordan Brand Classic Game.

The Wildcats recently received a commitment from Alabama point guard Eric Bledsoe, but many observers expect Wall to play just one year of college basketball before turning pro.

Remember that ESPN spot by the late Robert Goulet whose deal about Kentucky was taken from the theme of the Partridge Family?

Wonder how long that assistant is going to keep his job at Baylor now?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

What do you mean Dooby? He was hired for his basketball acumen and experience, not to deliver some specific recruit that would be shady.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

That guy doesn't sit on the Baylor bench for a single game. They'll make some announcement about how it's completely unrelated, but he is "leaving to pursue other opportunities."

I think Baylor will be fine.....regardless of what you think about Drew and the way he is running that program, they are very close to big things in Waco. Getting to the NIT finals opened a lot of eyes nationally. btw, we have absolutely no room to talk, their 8th best player on this year's team would have been our best.

Actually, I think they're very close to taking a step back toward reality. Losing Rogers and not getting Wall, who was supposed to legitimize their program, will derail their brief dalliance with adequacy.

Drew recruits up a storm, no denying it. They aren't done being decent by a long shot. As long as he's mining international waters for kids, and has his hooks in the local AAU circuit, he's fine. They have a very solid 09 class coming in, w/some solid '10 commits lined up.

What he really needs to do is win more, so he can get to a real job. Right now, he's all recruiting no results. Very few will step to the plate w/just that resume. When he gets a Sweet 16 or something, big dogs will start sniffing.
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

If he gets a Sweet 16 at Baylor, I'll puke.
Thankfully, I don't have to worry about that. When he hits a Sweet 16, he'll be working somewhere else.

Yeah I don't think God has helped Baylor or SMU much lately in sports. I think we'll be average again next year, but we have signed 4 4-stars 2 3-stars (Rivals) and euro big that is supposedly good (who knows). We'll be ok, but UT, OU, & KU are recruiting like crazy.

OSU is recruiting pretty well, as is Mizzou. At some point, Drew will have to prove he can coach, which could prove difficult, seeing as that he's allergic to defense
