Yes, but some on this board said that since Owens (the coach that we p***** off) has a great reputation among East Texas coaches, he would be successful in blocking Jones from schools across East Texas.

Yes, but some on this board said that since Owens (the coach that we p***** off) has a great reputation among East Texas coaches, he would be successful in blocking Jones from schools across East Texas.

I think people grossly overexaggerate the issue. No way Rush blocks Jones or anybody else from offering his players scholarships over something that happened to one of Owens (and a transfer player at that).

I've never heard Marshall coaches say anything about it, and I'm pretty sure that Thed Harris couldn't care less about Mike Owens.

He landed at Texas State, so if he has anything, he should be able to show it there. Too bad we don't have them as our 1aa team in the next few years. On second thought, it's not really too bad. Who cares? lol.
