And the sad thing was that it was still better than the 26 seasons they had in Minnesota.
Not really since the North Stars made the Stanley Cup Finals twice.

Both pick SMU 4th in C-USA West. Didn't get a chance to study them in any detail.
And that [deleted] Dave Campbell will put out his annual rag sometime soon.

Dave Campbell hasn't been involved in Texas Football for about ten years-Doucebag. Texas Football is the only magazine worth reading with regard to Texas Football.

I love reading DCTF, I probably have every issue going back to 72 or 73.

How did that 2008-09 season work out for the Stars? As for Mall of America, don't knock Camp Snoopy!!!
Considering 65% of their payroll was injured at one point, I'll take the season the stars had...

You're welcome to my old issues. Oh, wait. I recycled them.

Well, I have news. If SMU is not vastly improved this year over last year, there will be serious rumbling among the natives. I am not saying they have to win six or seven and go to a bowl, but the record and the team MUST show serious improvement.

define "vastly" improved? Doubling our win total from last year? Doubling our win total(s) from the last 2 years combined?
What would everyone's definition be?
I would say 5 wins would start getting people's attention and really help sell the program to recruits. Win 5 of 6 home games and we might even sell some more tickets on game day.

Job #1...beat those fricking frogs!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Or what? At this point it's either disband the program or just deal with it.
