Don Canyon commits

Went to today's camp and was introduced to our new commit, Don Canyon of Lincoln, in Dallas. Told us he was a qb, looked like a linebacker.

On Rivals, he's listed at 6-2, 220. Very little information aside from an offer from SMU and interest but no offers from Air Force, Rice, UTEP and Tulsa.

Wow is right, that's abysmal if true. Startig to get nervous about ol'June and some of these recruits
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones

Not sure what they have in mind for this player. His stats, if they are accurate, suggest DT. Obviously, the staff has a far better handle than those of us who can only look at a few stats and seek to speculate. If he meets JJ's standards we should rely on his judgment and welcome this player aboard.

Good porn star name.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

June Jones seems to be a coach who wins games with less than top level recruits, like say a Chris Ault at Nevada. That said, if I were him I would hire a high profile D-coordinator who can recruit. Especially in the Dallas area, and the state of Texas.

Thought the 23.5" vert was bad. These cannot be correct or he must have had a really bad day.
