This looks like a Phil Bennett kind of recruit. Marginal to zero D1 interest from somewhere in East TX. Like his measurables at least.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Except that Phil would not have been able to get him to commit until January.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Yeah he does still have an entire season of football left to play. Won't make him a top five position in the country but shouldn't hurt.

Kid must be strong! That's a lot of weight to carry on a 5-10 frame for an RB.

Welcome to SMU, Kevin!

I'm taking a page out of Stallion's book on this one.
Measurements look good if accurate.
HOWEVER - he's from a small school.
He better be EXTREMELY dominant at the position.

I know Kyle Kriegel's folks from Elysian Fields (he committed to UT and started school during the spring at DE), and I've been next to the kid.
Man among children. So utterly dominant at the position in 2A and evaluated by Oscar Giles & Co. as clearly deserving of the spot, you'd have to be an infant not to see it.

This Pope kid's success at Mount Enterprise (or lack of it) will be a better measurement of how good he is. We'll see. I will follow his progress. Looking forward to him having a great season!
