Rodney CLinkscales, our JUCO PG/SG signee who has 3 years to play at SMU, put up better numbers as a JUCO Fresh. than D Williams did as a JUCO Soph. Derek WIlliams was our CoMVP last season.
We play in the inaugural Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dec. 22-25, 2009. The field includes Hawaii, College of Charleston, Saint Mary's (Calif.), UNLV, USC, Western Michigan and one team to be determined. This increased level of competion signals to me the Doh thinks the team will be much better next year.
We just got a new bball assistant coach with strong DFW ties.
We lost only 1 rotation player and he was not one of our top 3 scorers (who by the way were all double digit ppg scorers).
How's that for a littyle SMU Hoops sunshine?

Sick indeed!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I bet she goes both ways with equal ability.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
