We are still in play for a few big fish out there, and there and O'Guinn, Swoope and Bordano all seem like real solid starts. At first blush, I'm concerned about the lack of D1 offers on these kids, but in light of the fact that the recruiting season is still at its infancy, and we usually don't even have any names on the board right now, I'm willing to say "So far so good" but with high expectations for the Summer/Fall.

I've never understood this "quantity is good" argument in the general sense. Is gettin a whole bunch of fat, ugly Chicks something to be proud of? A whole bunch of nothing is still nothing. Quality over quantity is my personal motto.

Not unless you believe that "even a blind hog can find an acorn once in awhile" or "find enough ugly ducklings and there is bound to be at least one that turns into a swan" or "kiss enough frogs and your bound to find your prince"!

Wait until you turn 50, you'll regret turning down some of those girls!

Are you asking if I would prefer having every single player that signs up have multiple BCS offers? Of course I would. All I'm suggesting is that there is still time to make a play to land a big fish or two that will make this class look much, much better.

I'm just looking for an upward trend, and don't think it's time to commit all of our reserves just yet.

Also, of our current 10 commitments, do only 2 have BCS offers……Michael O'Guin with Stanford and K-State offers and Connor Nichols with a Vanderbilt offer?

Thanks in advance for your response….you two are far and away the most informative recruiting posters on this board.

A lot already said on the last class but I'd grade it a C-. Braylon Williams may be the surprise find of the group, but thought QB depth wasn't addressed adequately. Still a question in my mind about BLM but too soon to judge him overall, however if he gets hurt or isn't the right player for the job big gap after him.

So far this year I'd say RB depth may have been filled with Pope (a kid I really think will be good and hasn't gotten the appreciation he should so far). O'Guin is very nice get, and though a legacy, still nice to hold on to Bordano. Only 4 DL signed the last 2 years may cause some problems if not addressed further this year. Can't put a grade on this class so far but overall not sure recruiting has seen marked improvement with JJ over Bennett. Seems to be a little scattershot especially signing 14 OL in 2 years.

I trust JJ on offense. Particularly the skill positions. He will get players, regardless of rating, to fit his needs.

However, as far as I am concerned, when it comes to the lines and the defensive side of the ball, talent is talent.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Counselor are you going to answer the question directed to you and HFVictory in the original post of this thread asking for letter grades? Or are you not willing to give June Jones specific recruiting letter grades like was asked so you can dodge whatever the future holds?
