SMUvTulsa MVP

Post by Rambo »

DeWayne Floyd was definitely the MVP of tonights game. He crashed the boards and brought a fire to the floor (and crowd) that no other player can. He gets into the game and brings everyone in with him. He even got all RGT and Copeland up and screaming, along with the other folks in sections N and M.
Long live D-Wayne!

That was an awesome game. I guess Tulsa vs SMU in Moody is a great matchup. This years and last years games at Moody were AWESOME.

Rambo, you are right, DeWayne gets everyone into the game. I think his play is not up to his potential, but he adds more than points or rebounds to the game, he adds excitement, which counts just as much.

The "Q" stepped it up offensively when we needed it, so he must get consideration. Sasser & Davis played some great "D" and pulled down some crucial boards...but the crowd might just be the MVPs on a night when the Ponies shot poorly and needed to sustain their defensive intensity to pull this one out. Finally...a HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!!!
