OK, so I am driving around Little Rock in my Yale blue truck with my Harvard crimson mustang decal on the back and my Pony Up license plate. While at a stop sign a hot blonde chick in a BMW pulls up beside me. I give her an appreciative smile and she displays the good old pony ears.
Now I know you purists would call exception to how she displayed the sign, and I will admit she did not do it perfectly. However, even though she only used her middle finger and it was straight up instead of curved, as she sped away, I was thankful for yet another SMU supporter in Arkansas.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand

Well, our mustang logo is in profile, and she is blonde, so maybe she thought it only had one ear. A nice salute to the mustangs nevertheless.

I thought those were just lame attempts at pony ears.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
