Can't believe you would admit this, but, I'm glad that you did. Case is closed, on why anyone would ever care, about your opinions on SMU football.

FWIW, I've questioned him on that already, and his wife is an Arkansas alum. He has dragged her to numerous SMU games, and she is going to drag him to see the Hogs while they are in Dallas.

Maybe we can get a crowd at Blue Mesa on University before the game
or Railhead, although I prefer Angelo's.

Exactly. How in the world would someone care about SMU after being a season ticket holder for games since they were in the Cotton Bowl?

And how in the world would someone care when I went down to 95-21 in Houston, 63-14 at A&M in 1989?

Big Al = Big Mistake! However, I am always amused by the old "I'm a better SMU supporter than you are because I'm doing this and you're not'' argument. Very silly.

And just to let you know, SMU does not have to come first. Nor should it.

As I stated before, the wife is an Arkansas alum. And she wants to see the Razorbacks plays the Aggies. I'll be annoyed that I won't be in Fort Worth, but I don't mind doing it for her. The greatest joy in my life is to see her smile.

Truth be told, it might be the better game anyway.

That game at Amon Carter could get really messy the Mustangs. The gap between TCU and SMU is ever widening.

Blue Mesa?!?!?!?!?!

Angelo's is fine, but Railhead is (1) better; and (2) closer.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If I were in that situation--as Ernie Banks used to say--"Let's Play Two". Already half way there.

Mmmm just realized that could cause quite some traffic problems. What time is the game at JerryWorld-its listed as TBD on the Aggie Official site?

They don't have it listed on Arkansas' web site either. I'm hearing that ABC may want to pick that up for a regional night game. But who knows if that's right.

If it's not night, I would think ABC would make it for its 2:30 package. Don't know if CBS would be a player on this. I guess it would depend on who is designated as the home team.

Either way, 2:30 start. Figure it lasts until 6. Traffic hell to follow. Get home by the time our game with TCU is in the second quarter -- when the outcome will have already been decided.

Railhead is fine. I would love the opportunity to meet with some SMU's and enjoy a couple of cold adult beverages before heading to Amon Carter.

I have never given you a hard time about any of the things you have said even though I have disagreed with some of them. But for some reason this bothers me. You are going to take your family to the Ark/A&M game instead of the SMU game. Probably just me but I have a real problem with that. You must have an excellent reason why you are snubbing the Mustangs for the Aggies. Please explain.

Sorry. Just read your post above these explaining about the wife. Still have a problem with it, but it is much easier to understand.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

Jeez, he already did. His wife is an Arkansas grad and wants to go. She asked him to take her. He's being a good husband. A guy who does not understand that is either single or not a good husband. No more explanation is needed.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
