Mavs Target QSeeing Q again might be worth going to a few Mavs games outside of when the Spurs visit.
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/stories/070209dnspomavslede.3f859e1.html "He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"
"You tell 'em I'm coming... and hell's coming with me!"
Better (defensively) than Armstrong, and significantly taller, and a hell of a lot better than those other two, who have never even faked playing actual defense. I still remember in the story PonyFans did on Q with the Clippers  didn't Dunleavy say Q could defend anyone but the opposing center? To say Q immediately becomes the Mavs' best defender is an enormous understatement. Any idea how many years/dollars in his deal? Welcome home, Q!
one year, veteran minimum. however, at this point, i'm sue Q wants it that way. The second he proves himself with the Mavs, he can leverage that into a multiyear deal...
Coach Doh needs to get him on the local recruiting scene
Today is the first day NBA free agents can sign, so it looks like Q is officially a Maverick! Welcome home Q!!

Welcome home, indeed!
Hope someone can get him out to Moody so we can all cheer for him again. Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes. Remember why the good lord made your eyes. So don't shade your eyes, just Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize! (Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")
From the DMN (Eddie Sefko)...
The naysayers will laugh at this one, but players like Quinton Ross are good for any team's program. One, they come relatiavely cheap. Two, they are local kids who have an identity in the community. Three, the guy has improved every season. Coach Rick Carlisle had this to say after this morning's summer-league team got together for practice: "He's going to be a good system player for us, a terrific defender, a multi-position player and an improved 3-point shooter the last couple years. I think he really fits in well with our team. "And he's a great age. Anytime you get a local guy, from SMU and from Dallas, that has all these characteristics on your team, you feel like it's a big plus.'' Ross, a 6-6 shooting guard, will add a key piece to the Mavericks' depth and the guess here is that he'll start more than a handful of games next season. He has every other year he's been in the league, although with considerably poorer teams. --Eddie Sefko
TEN TIMES BETTER THAN GERALD GREEN...
most likely wont get major minutes but he'll find a way to contribute to the team.
Not allowed, per NCAA rules. PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.
