"Summer recruiting has started. The DFW Elite Tournament is being held at SMU. Over 1000 athletes will be on our campus. Great turnout."

That's fantastic. If just one great player is on campus and realizes the great facilities, coaches, recent success, etc., the program has, then it's worth everything that goes into hosting such a tournament. Go get 'em, Coach R!

If we get a big ugly shrek-looking woman who can take us deep in the tournament, I'll take one for the team and make her feel pretty.

That's great. You get 1,000 HS/AAU players in the Crum Center, and some of them are going to be worthy of a scholarship. Whether it's 10 or 100, who knows? But getting them on our campus and in our facility can only help.

Couch 'em and PAMR, let's try and shoot for meeting up at that TCU game this Fall (in addition to just meeting up for a beer), I think that's when I'll be in town.
