SMU's game at Marshall scheduled for 4:30p.m. -I wonder if this is for a TV window.

Yuk, Marshall game in the evening in late November. They're hoping for a snow storm to make our passing attack worthless.

On the one hand it would be nice is this was televised, but I would be inclined to agree that this might not provide the best conditions for SMU football to shine. I have never been up in that part of the US but I hear it can get pretty ugly.

I've been to Huntington, both fits very nicely.

Both. The town is ridiculously ugly, and it gets painfully cold.

The picture in their gym of Mike D'Antoni with the '70s/Beatles haircut is pretty funny. After that, there's no reason to go there if SMU isn't playing there.

I've been to some pretty ugly towns in WV and Huntington may still be the ugliest. Luckily we're playing in the latter half of the month so you might be able to get a cab. Last time we played them it was the night welfare checks were out when I arrived and it took an hour for the cabbie to show up at the train station.

I've been through a lot of West Virginia, and I have yet to see a town that ISN'T ugly.

Nothing special about the time, half of their home games and all their "Southern" schools (Southern Illinois, Southern Miss and Southern Methodist) start at this time...Maybe it is their coverage.
