Those are perfect, except for the stripes. Lose the stripes, please.

i dont care what they want to wear as long as they are winning. I think loosing the stripes would improve the look IMO.

Just the stripes on the jerseys, not the helmets.

He also mentioned that adidas wanted to push "new" designs like nike does, but A&M decided to go with a more traditional look...
I always liked adidas cleats much better than Nike, but that's a personal preference. The HS teams I played on generally liked adidas better, too. But as for being the official shoe of SMU, adidas makes far more sense. When we were a Nike school, we got "the leftovers" from the big programs, and if our coaches wanted new equipment ordered, it took forever. I gather that adidas actually accepts and fills orders right away, and treats SMU like one of the big boys. I expect that goes a long way toward keeping that contractual relationship alive.

If they used everyones opinions, the uniforms would look like a technicolored explosion. The uniforms are not changing.

We will wear red jerseys in several, if not all, home games.

SID
Please email Adidas and have them lose the stripes on the jersey sleeves.
Also have them give us some real stipes on the pants and not the spaghetti stings we currently have.
That's all, thanks.

Telling Adidas to lose stripes is liking telling Nike to lose the swoosh - "that's their bag, baby."
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

BTW...the uniforms in the game match what we normally wear.
Blue Jersey & White Pants for Home
White Jersey & White Pants for Away
There are options to use the blue helmet, an entire crimson uniform, and a reverse of the home uniform

You do know that's not the SID's call, right?
Pretty sure it's whatever June wants, June gets.
