Any word on the rumor that the place might reopen under new management?

All the best to our friend Mr. Bailey.

Yeah, it's true. Word is it should be open in 3-4 weeks.

Location?
If you are talking First and 10, it is reopened now at same location.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

No, he's talking about The Point which Mr. Bailey told me a few weeks ago (during his garage sale at his residence) that he's in negotiations to open at a new location. At the time, he was unable to say EXACTLY where the 'new' Point would be located, other than saying it would be "somewhere in north or northeast Dallas". Stay tuned.

I'll gladly support the new First & 10 and the new Point.

we still make the Original Point Burger. we hired back James' old staff at 1st & 10. He may be reopening somewhere, and best of luck to him.

After reading the Sunday paper, I couldn't resist trying out Burguesa Burger over by Sonny Bryan's (which, unfortunately, hasn't been the same since Sonny) on Inwood. Worker friends and I each had La Monumental: two all beef patties, two slices of cheese, ham, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, refried beans, crunchy tostado and special creamy sauce on a seasame seed bun crowned with a whole jalapeno pepper. Delicious. Washed it down with a real Coca Cola. I don't want to get my cholesterol checked anytime soon - but I'll be eating there again someday.

How'd you pay? Their website says they prefer pesos.

I had some pesos left over from when I used to order from Pizza Patron. Never underestimate the power of the peso - you'll be counting them someday.

Twisted Burger in Richardson is pretty good. I heard they were doing to open one near SMU pretty soon.
