2010 Basketball Recruiting

Post by Blvd_Stang »

For those of you who will complain that SMU never goes after top basketball talent in Texas...

Plus for 2011...

Also, I know we're targeting top recruits in other states as well. Given the schools we're competing against on the list, as compared to our win record, we're on the right track. Much like our football program, I feel like with 1-2 winning seasons we can make a drastic change because of level of talent we're already targeting as huge losers.

My argument is not that we aren't recruiting local & state talent because I know we are.
The argument is we can't land any of these recruits. I do think the 2 new coaches will help both on the court & in recruiting.

Here's another link with some football & hoops recruiting tidbits.
There are a couple of kids interested in us like Cobbins & Clarkson that don't indicate it on this list.
On the football 110 list check out the OL from Navasota, Aleon Calhoun.
"We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors."
