Andy Dalton as a dark horse Heisman Candidate? He's getting better and has the makings of being a very fine DI quarterback, but let's not get carried away here.

I liked the phrasing "if he becomes a dark horse." Probably better to add candidate to the end of that. What does it mean to become a dark horse without context?
