SMU is suffering from an identity crisis brought on by the school being run for too long by people with no vested interest in the University and it's traditions or understanding of our history. It's just a high paying job...period.
Very well said on this & all else you said, PK.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

i have to second that, i would prefer to have an administration of people from texas who know texas and value texas...as nice a southern california is they do not knwo the 1st thing about dallas or texas culturally or historically and i think that we need to re-connect to those things in order to establish ourselves as a strong university. we have been considered aloof for a long time and i dont really have a problem with that, what i have a problem with is a fundamental disconnect with the values that the region and the city espouse.

the order was put in middle of last week...i would expect them to be arriving sometime in August...hopefully sooner than later so I can sport it on the north side here but definitely in Dallas.
if you didn't order a jersey, currently, you need to get together 24 other people before they will make another batch...however, i am motivated to set up a system where individuals can buy them without having to make a mass order. in addition to that i'd like to have socks, jackets, leg/arm warmers and aero booties made available for individual purchase.
if anyone has ideas or connections to a sports apparel manufactuerer and would like to pass along some info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Hopefully, both my new kits are in the order that went out next week. I need some new kits to show off here in Arkyland. The previous kit got a lot of compliments which is surprising in this part of the country (The Beloved Razorback fans hate SMU).

Noah,
It was great meeting you and seeing the Mustang Cycling Jersey, while pedaling on the farms roads of Wisconsin during the Trek 100. A real treat to see and ride along side of the Red and Blue.

Thanks. I haven't heard anything and I place my order some time back. I am eager to wear the new and old SMU kits here in Arkyland.

The arrival date is Aug 15...I still need to get the last few stragglers to pay ($600 still remaining). A really accomplished Pro woman cyclist (Kat Carroll) has developed a program where they generate invoices etc for teams using custon apparel. Next order she is getting a call! Scot
