Freeman on the hoops team?

Post by Horseshoe »

Did you see the release on the homepage? Johnnie Freeman is on the basketball team? Not sure what to make of this.

What do you all think?

What do you think Coach Bennett thinks about a senior-to-be (or is he a junior-to-be) wide receiver taking the offseason to play basketball?

This should be interesting. I bet Dement is wishing Marcus Carter never transfered. He was a stud bball player in high school and he transfered to A$M for bball. I can't wait to see Freeman play.

I've seen Freeman play. He's a little raw, but has the makings of a really good player. Super-quick (obviously), can jump a mile high, and can shoot better than you'd think.

...
"Hit it."

I wonder if JFree will be better on the court than he is on the gridiron? With that speed, I'm sure he can do some good things. But how many times will the fans groan if the ball sails through his hands when he's cruising in on a breakaway?
