Isn't even close. TCU. And it will probably be getting harder and harder in coming years as TCU rebuilds its faltering running game with 5-count em 5 superstar RB recruits and consistently outstanding classes.

TCU biggest game of the year, no doubt.

On the Upside, maybe one of them will transfer to SMU due to lack of playing time lol.

CORRECTION: TCU is the hardest game of the year. The biggest game of the year right now is probably UAB.

take a look at the schedule. If SMU doesn't beat UAB they likely will will go well into their season without breaking our Division 1A 20 game losing streak with games against Wash St(Road), TCU(Road), ECU, Navy, Houston(Road), Tulsa(Road). Don't think we want to go into the Rice game at 1-7 with a 27 game Division 1A losing streak. The November Schedule includes all winnable games. The September-October schedule, after SFA, is comparatively a Bataan Death March for a school like SMU with 4 tough road games and only 2 home games including the CUSA East favorite(ECU) and a school we have performed terribly against in recent years(Navy). I'll stand by the UAB game-any chance at a bowl game will definitely require a victory over UAB or at least Washington St.

The hardest game of the year for us will always be the next game on the schedule.

All of them given the fact that we're 2-22 over the last two seasons.

The most important game is SFA, since that's our next opponent.
