I am looking at ponystampede.com and i decided to categorize the recruiting rankings by conference...the Big 12 has 1,4, &9 but what i noticed more importantly was that we are 2nd! in the CUSA at the moment at No. 59 14 places behind houston and no one else in our Conf, and I would expect that to only improve.

Since SMU basically finished for 2010 how can that improve much more in comparison to other schools? Player rankings may improve some, but the biggest movement will be from other schools as they add to their class. UH almost done also so they at least won't move too much unless they somehow land the manchild.

You are correct, but what does that have to do with recruiting class rankings, especially when JJ has said he is done for the most part? The fact that signing day isn't until Feb and SMU has basically laid its score out there before most other programs will only work against the school in rankings.RednBlue11 wrote:signing day isn't until feb.HFvictory wrote:Since SMU basically finished for 2010 how can that improve much more in comparison to other schools? FWIW, except for only the top few programs the ranking system by Scout & Rivals is really worthless. They don't have a clue what SMU has or doesn't have.
However if you think SMU will only go up and not down you are sadly mistaken. This class will drop 20+ spots before signing day.
