Re: Article on JJsee Ralph...I told ya!...lol....here they come...charging in with negative angles in a thread about a glowing article about our coach.
It is basically impossible for them to allow something positive to go unchallenged. It's going to be funny watching them when June shoves a sock in their pie-holes. When we win 5 it will be "well gosh we didn't win 6"...when we win 7 it will be "well gosh we didnt win 8"...when we win 8 it will be "well gosh we didn't win 9!"...hell if they were at Hawaii when June turned that team around to go 12-0 in the regular season these dogs woulda been howling "well the S.O.B. didn't win the national championship"! And if he would have won the National Championship they would say "well..hell I betcha he doesn't repeat! ![]() Dang I feel sorry for the people that have to live with these guys.... Jeeeez whattta nighmare that must be! Sauerkraut for dinner every night! C-ya @ Milos!
Re: Article on JJAs we say up here in Chicago, you gotta believe...
Re: Article on JJNone of you Cheerleaders have posted a single thing worth reading in the 21st Century. Just do your little cheer and maybe a "Herkie" and start the next thread about the DMN or the Texas Longhorns. The rest might actually want to intelligently discuss SMU Football. We may even discuss-dare I say it-the weaknesses in the program or the Depth Chart before September proves it. And what may really [deleted] you off is when we take the facts, analyze them and correctly predict the turnaround of SMU Football as it happens

Re: Article on JJI'm just amused by the first two responses on this page. Just wow!
And funny my first response was that it was a nice story -- but don't worry about that.
Re: Article on JJ"The rest might actually want to intelligently discuss SMU Football"
What like....."June Jones will never come here" "And what may really [deleted] you off is when we take the facts, analyze them and correctly predict the turnaround of SMU Football as it happens". More often than not we are in agreement with what SMU head coach June Jones says. June Jones is excited about SMU's chances. He said yesterday SMU should be in a bowl game either this year or next. June Jones must be a "cheerleader" in your mind. Well I guess I'd rather be in agreement with someone that has actually done something in football (Orsini & June Jones) and been successful at a very high level than be in agreement with you STALLION that has never done squat in football. June Jones would have never got to where he is being one of the top paid coaches in college football if he had a negative attitude like you! C-ya @ Milos!
Re: Article on JJ
Careful now, some don't like facts. They tend to get in the way of things.
Re: Article on JJYIPPIE! Rah! Rah! Rah! Go Ponies
Vote Insane as Head Cheerleader!!!! You still haven't posted a thing about SMU's Football Team worth reading in the 21st Century "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

Re: Article on JJ

Re: Article on JJ
Insane was voted head cheerleader LONG ago. "I think Couchem is right."

Re: Article on JJI think any analysis of our team is incomplete until we have a true 2 deep chart. Shaunberry McNeil if he can play, would be worth an extra 3 points a game at least. But we won't know about him until the season starts. Will there be any training camp injuries which reduce our depth at an already thin position? Will there be any more academic casualties this year? Will there be anymore disciplinary casualties this year? Any of those things could change our expectations.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Article on JJHey Stallion, go [deleted] yourself...

Re: Article on JJ
This comment was very interesting to me because it came from someone who loves to point out that little things matter. Three quick points: 1. The author's name is Stephen Tsai, not George Tsai. Example of a little thing being missed? 2. If anyone actually paid attention to the context of the article--look on the right hand column for example--you'd see that the Honolulu Advertiser is writing an article each day about the top 50 sports figures in Hawaii (Tim Chang is the subject of today's article). This is because Hawaii became a state 50 years ago. So, if someone paid attention to the little things, they would have realized that the article wasn't written because things were boring! Is there any question that JJ was not a major sports figure in Hawaii over the past decade? This was not about moving on, but those who miss the little things might not comprehend that. 3. It is absolutely mystifying to me that a SMU fan would complain about a Hawaii newspaper giving JJ good publicity. The Advertiser is the leading newspaper for the entire state of Hawaii and parents and recruits read that newspaper. Hawaii is a prime recruiting territory for football, including SMU needs at DL and OL (SMU has/had offers to recruits in Hawaii recruits this year). Does *any* SMU fan actually want all positive articles about JJ to stop being published in Hawaii? Or is this an example about complaining about something without really thinking things through?
